VINTAGE 1979 GOLD'S GYM California TANK TOP - XL - MADE IN USA

This is a Gold's Gym (California) Tank Top.  It is size XL and made in the U.S.A.  It is used, and has been well worn by me only. I bought it new at World's Gym in Santa Monica, California, in 1979 from the man himself, Joe Gold.  Visiting there in June of 1979 from Missouri, I walked into World's Gym one morning and there is Joe Gold (founder and owner of the original Gold's Gym), standing behind the counter.  This is after he had sold Gold's Gym that is now the massive franchise, and opened World's Gym.  We talked at length.  He was curious to know where I was from and what gym I had been training at.  He had some leftover Gold's Gym tank tops, and I purchased this one from him later that morning.  He himself got it out of the case and handed it to me.  Those were the days.  I trained in this tank top hundreds of hours for years after that.  This tank top has been laundered and stored in a drawer in our smoke-free home for about 30 years.  I am now 66 years old and, although only down to above average, I just don't like the way an old man looks in a tank top.  So I'm offering it for sale.
