    Description

This is one truly extraordinary necklace. The 19th century natural turquoise from a Utah
mine by themselves are magnificent, and my photos hardly do their beauty justice.
BUT, each of the three quartz rock crystal  Native American components are separately
    very rare, and seldom found.
The rock crystal "chip" ax, dating to the Woodland era (1000 BCE-1600CE),
    does have an auction provenance
from years before it was made part of this
    necklace by the former
collector (information to be provided the buyer).
The bottom arrowhead I am certain is pre-Contact but believe may be on the cusp of the
late Mississippian period, circa 1500's CE.
The middle arrowhead is especially early. It is a "Guilford Round Base" type, likely found
in Tennessee. Typical of this style, the flaking pattern is random. It dates about 4000-3000 BCE.
As for the metal which holds these pieces, they are  antiqued silver constructed
    by an artisan who
has made jewelry for Tiffany's and
his name will be provided the buyer, possibly for his certification (if he is available).
The three rock crystal artifacts have a lifetime guarantee to paper with a mutually agreed expert
in pre-historic Native American arrowheads and relics.
Measurements: The overall length of the necklace is about 21 inches.
The hatchet is 2 1/2 inches long by 2 inches wide
the Guilford projectile point is 2 inches long
the Mississippian era arrowhead is 1 1/4 inches long
Condition: Amazingly translucent, surface aging, minor edge wear. A small chip
from one bit of the hatchet.
