Thebes E-Notch points are not truly rare. I would call them semi-rare and very hard to come by. So what do you do when you find an authentic one showing up on fake-filled Ebay? You jump right on it because they don’t even show up at places like Bennett’s at an affordable price.  If they are nice and over three inches, they sell for over a thousand dollars!  This one is affordable because of its size and because “Father Time” has issued me an ultimatum to let go of some things.  The color is grayish with tan overtones. It has been anciently resharpened, reducing its original size, and the opposite side is somewhat flattish…which take it out of the 0 -0 range.  Nevertheless, it has a nicely ground base, wicked serrations, eye-catching appearance, and a highly-regarded Bennett COA….a fine addition to any collection.  I am a previous AACA Board of Directors member and this artifact carries the normal 14-day inspection/return privilege.  The opening bid is well below what I paid for this highly collectible E-Notch.  (See my other listings for more quality artifacts).
