    This is a super Susquehanna valley style SLANT GROOVED AXE FOUND ON PITTSBURG VALLEY ROAD IN CONESTOGA PA. NOT TOO FAR FROM THE SUSQUEHANNA RIVER OR TURKEY HILL. Piece is completely pecked into form. Not just a rock with a groove. Has a unique “worm track” on the one side . It measures a LARGE 6 3/4 inches long. In my personal collection for approximately 20 years due to the great local history. Beautiful piece with history. Guaranteed authentic. Classic Lower Susquehanna river Lancaster area artifact! Has some use dings on bit.
