Work well over the rated voltage range.If you think it's better to have a lower voice,t are several ways.The first,add a little resistor or two to reduce the sound level.The second,use a simple piece of electrical tape to cover all or part of the outlet.The third,wrap the buzzer in paper towel and duct tape.Also you can vary the voltage or use PWM to control the volume.
