Description

This is a rare artifact type, a rabbit eared anchor pendant from a great material. I have only
seen one other of this type in last 40 years and it sold for a considerable amount at an Old Barn
Auction. This is a blending of a rabbit eared pendant, and an anchor type pendant it is from
Washington Co. TN in the Eastern Tenn. Appalachian highlands it was found and collected by Jim.
D. Humphrey that was a geologist by trade and an avocational archaeologist that belonged to a
group that did salvage archaeology before industrial facilities were constructed in their area.
This was found on 6-3-71, and has Jim's tag.
Not large but very fine. 3", by 1 3/4", by 1/4"
