recently acquired a good number of Columbia River points from the Fred Van Ronk private museum "The Ancient People of the Columbia River Valley" that included this rare Alder Complex point
. This point is
made from a
nice piece of basalt
and is 1.7/8 inches long by 3/4 of an
inch wide. It was found between The Dalles, Oregon and Vantage, Washington. This classic example
has a heavily ground base
and
