Bronze guides are a hardened bronze and are used in racing applications. Bronze guides have multiple benefits one being heat dispersion. Bronze material can remove heat from the valve and keeps valve temperatures down by acting as a heat sync. Bronze is far superior to the cast steel guides or iron guides.
Bronze also has self lubricating quality?s. That means you can run the clearances tighter between the valve stem and the guide. This allows better stability in your valve train. At high RPM?S the valve is on and off the valve seat 100?s of times in a second. At this speed any un wanted vibration will cause the valve not to seat and seal properly, cause valve float, and potential for power loss or engine failure if the piston hits the valve. Bronze guides ability to hold and keep tighter clearance between the guide and the valve means more control and more power potential.
Pauls karts bronze guides Take things to even another level of protection and performance. These guides have a built in head on the guide to prevent failures. Stock guides and other aftermarket bronze guides dot have any protection to prevent them from falling down into the port and potentially pinning the valve down into the open position causing total engine failure. That?s like pulling the pin on a grenade  and tossing it into the engine. The head on the bronze guides I designed makes that situation physically impossible. This gives you another level of performance security to run the engine hard and know the guides will never fail due to falling thru. I personally lost an engine to this exact problem and is why I made these. First for myself , then with the demand of customers I now offer them to you.
Another cool feature of these guides is the head of the guide has been made to the size of the ID of the dual coil 60 lb springs.
