The common Smooth Isopod (Porcellio laevis) exhibits several lovely color mutations - all of which thrive under captive conditions, making this species an excellent choice for the "beginner" Isopod enthusiast. They are also a fantastic addition to bioactive terraria, serving as a "clean-up crew/tank janitor" species par excellence.
