    This nicely made and highly polished Dover Chert Mississippian Adze was found in Ballard Co, Kentucky and measures 7 inches long and is 2.75 inches wide across the body of the piece. This piece is made from a nice gray Dover Chert from Western Tennessee and is really a great example of the type. This piece has been hit several times from farm equipment and has sever scratches over the surface of the piece but is still a nice example. Guaranteed to be 100% authentic and unaltered.
