P. laevis is a great species; they can breed at young ages so new colonies produce quickly. They get to be a good size and have a nice shiny exoskeleton. Laevis are excellent feeders, similar to baby dubia roaches. Big protein eaters, they will need their populations monitored when used in bio active setups. California mix was collected in California and shows a nice mix of colors/morphs; wild grey, white, peachy tones, light colored milkback, etc.
You will receive 20+ well started California Mix P. laevis in a mix of colors.
Tips for choosing this species:
Do not house with amphibians or animals that molt like hermit crabs or tarantulas.. this species can be aggressive feeders and nibble on your vivarium inhabitants.
Many isopods can thrive in all sorts of setups, message me if you need help choosing the right clean up crew!
I recommend creating a master culture of your isopods and using it to replenish your clean up crews when needed. This will give you a backup in case the crew has issues.

If shipped to a home address, the buyer must retrieve the package within 30 mins of delivery to avoid extreme temperatures. When held at the hub, buyer must pick up the same day it arrives. Buyer should notify me of any issues within 1 hour of delivery/pickup to be eligible for Live Arrival Guarantee. We will discuss replacement or refund based on my stock and buyer preference.
