The disc plow is great for "New Ground" where you will have roots and small brush type undergrowth. They are the very good in rocky type soil as they just roll up and over a rock and you don't have to worry about the disc plow hanging or tripping. Better than a conventional plow when you have heavy and tall top growth. They don't clog up.
