    Description

Always check a sellers feedback prior to bidding...it speaks well of good sellers!
This American Indian axe head was purchased at an estate sale in East Texas. The family did not know where their grandfather obtained the item but said it almost positively had been found on the
    acreage
he resided on here in Van Zandt County, Texas. It is an unusual axe because of the two flutes around the head and over its top. I have not been able to locate similar one  online and most assuredly there are others that used this advanced attachment technique
. Shipping weight round 2 lbs. Please use the many pictures for making your evaluation.
    Payment is required within 32
    hours
of completed transaction which makes management of my eBay activities much easier.
Communicate if you require more time.
Item is shipped using USPS with tracking and have never lost an item. I try very hard to keep the cost of shipping low to benefit seller and buyer. Items are shipped within 24 hours of payment unless USPS hours prevent it. No money
is made on shipping costs...period! And...I personally dislike being overcharged for shipping by sellers...period! Refunds of whole dollars are made when actual shipping is less than quoted.
Will sell outside USA on request only!

I found some info but I can't swear to its accuracy. This type is also called tri-notched OR referred to as a “rabbit eared” axe. These are a southern style axe with a third notch in the poll end. This is not the result of damage, but purposeful notching. The type is almost always small at 3 to 4 inches and nearly square in form. Very uncommon.
