Mystery snails are a wonderful addition to your freshwater aquarium! Peaceful and beautiful to look at. They get along nicely with freshwater fish. Easy to care for, eating algae wafers, canned carrots, French cut green beans and zucchini in addition to cleaning up excess food in your tank.
Tank bred in our planted aquariums.   We currently have Albino, Blue, Gold, Jade and Chestnut snails.  See our other listings for the selection of colors.  Snails need calcium to keep their shells healthy. We personally use aragonite in the tank substrate.
Shipping can be stressful, so don’t be alarmed if they don’t come out of their shell for a day or two.  They will need to be acclimated to your tank temperature and water conditions.
Snails will be young, they can grow to 1.5-2 inches and can live roughly 2 years.  Please plan on having only 1 snail for each 2 gallons of tank capacity.
We use USPS Priority shipping and ship on Monday’s and Tuesday’s to help ensure healthy arrival of your new tank friends.  Please DO NOT leave snails in mailbox or extreme weather!!!
DOA Policy:  On the rare occasion that a snail arrives dead, please take a clear picture of it still in the shipping bag and send it to us within 2 hours of arrival and we can discuss replacement or refund.  When a snail is dead its body hangs out of its shell.
