Malaysian Trumpet Snails

Description

Malaysian trumpet snails are great to have in a shrimp tank. The snails will help prevent gas build up in the substrate and also help prevent a tank from re-cycling due to lack of bio-load. They will also help replicate a natural environment for your shrimp and eat the leftover food which can pollute your tank. I keep Malaysian trumpet snails in all of my tanks. Just be careful not to overfeed your tank, overfeeding can cause snails to reproduce quickly.
Malaysian trumpet snails will thrive in any freshwater parameters. I have even kept them in brackish water.
