They will be carefully packed for shipping. Upon arrival, you should place your land snails in a new home as soon as possible. If your habitat is not ready, you may store them in the refrigerator for about two months with feeding and misting. Your snails may arrive and appear dead or asleep; if they are inactive, simply run it under tap water for 30 seconds. then let is sit on a plate with a tiny bit of water, enough water to let the belly get wet but not so much to drown it. Then let it sit until it wakes and become active. You may cover it with a colander in case it wakes and start crawling.

HOW WE SHIP
• We typically ship on Saturdays or Mondays. At this time, we only ship within the continental USA and Puerto Rico.
• We ship them with eco-friendly insulated material inside a thermal bubble liner and/or Styrofoam-lined box.
• Heat packs are included if deemed necessary.
• Once carefully packed, we deliver your package directly to the MSP Airport Post Office for quickest shipment out.
• We do reserve the right to hold shipping if the weather poses undue risk to your snails Should this be necessary, we will be in prompt communication with you to plan for safe shipping after inclement weather has passed.
EXPECTING THE BEST, PLAN FOR THE WORST
While the overwhelming majority of the boxes we have shipped over the years have arrived in excellent condition to happy customers, once the box in the hands of the carrier, they are no longer in our care.  Sometimes there are factors that are out of our control, where boxes are delayed or mishandled by the carrier, or exposed to excessive stressors.  In the unfortunate case where something happens, we work with you to ensure we have reached an amicable, mutually agreeable solution under our Live Arrival Guarantee.
LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE:
• We include extras of this or another line of our choosing when available. Live Arrival Guarantee does not apply to any extras we include free of charge.
• Using USPS Priority Express 1-Day or USPS Priority 2-Day shipping services, we guarantee that your snails arrive alive and healthy.
• If they do not, we refund the price of the snails on a prorated basis minus shipping costs.
• In case of DOA, send two clear photos within 1 hour of dlivery .
• You must plan to be present at the time your package is to be delivered. All shipments come with tracking.
• It is the buyer’s responsibility to make sure their correct mailing address is provided at checkout via PayPal. You must clearly indicate if you would like your box held for pickup at your local post office.
• We are unable to extend Live Arrival Guarantee to USPS Priority 3-Day delivery points. Please note, more than ninety percent of our shipments to these areas have been successful, however.
