All Freshwater Clams are bred in California under their ideal water parameters. These water parameters include soft water, 0 Ammonia, 0 Nitrite, <10 Nitrate, 75 degrees fahrenheit.
We recommend your tank mimic these parameters or are near their levels as Freshwater Clams are sensitive to water quality.
Freshwater Clams Care
Freshwater Clams can live up to 6 months in an ideal tank.
These clams filter feed debris through your water column.
We recommend you research this species as they are sensitive to water parameters.

Shipping
We ship Monday-Thursday with exceptions for holidays and extreme weather to reduce delays for your livestock
Freshwater Clams are packaged in their own bag within the same container with tank water to reduce stress.
Boxes are lined with insulation at seller's discretion along with packaging cushion to reduce movement.
We do not ship internationally. We ship to the continental 48 United States.
Buyer is responsible for knowing local and state laws. Buyer is fully responsible for any and all penalties associated with prohibited species ordered and shipped.
Heat/Cooling packs are provided at seller's discretion.
We are not responsible for DOA livestock when there has been a shipping delay.
Returns/Replacements/Refunds
We do not accept returns for live/DOA livestock. DOA livestock can be discarded once seller has notified the buyer of receiving proof.
Live clams are not subject to returns, replacements, and refunds.
We are not liable for DOA clams that have been lost, delayed, or mishandled by shipping company (proven by damaged packaging).
Replacements are under seller's discretion. Buyer must provide proof of DOA clams within 1 hour of delivery.
Picture/Video DOA Proof must be provided within 1 hour of delivery.
The shipping bag must be unopened.
Replacements or Refunds are under seller's discretion.
