International 4700 DT466E Diesel Ambulance / Rescue Squad, Low Miles,NO Reserve!

2001 4700 DT466 7.6 Diesel Ambulance Rescue Squad. Just retired from service with the original owner (Department). For the last several years this was used as their back up squad. They just receive a new one, so now their current squad will be their new back up. The chief said while their newer squad broke down quite frequently, this one was always Mr. Reliable! It has 93K miles and roughly 8400 hours. Starts right up with half a turn of the key, even when it's cold out! You have to wait a few minutes for the air ride to pump up, just for the first time in the morning. Expect to do some work to it if you want to get it to 100% again. There does seems to be a leak on the ground, not crazy excessive, but what you would expect from an older diesel. It also had a rougher ride around 65 mph as far as a shake. Don't know if it is a tire issue or maybe some frontend parts, it has not been diagnosed. I personally drove it back 3 hours from the department to our facility and it ran great. As I said the ride would get a little shaky and 65 mph. The unit is pretty much complete with a cot. Fresh out of service, Government maintained. The vehicle was 4,853 when it was brand new!!!
