    Description

    Up for sale is a huge specimen of a Paleo era Stringtown Lance. This artifact measures 4 1/16" long x 1 3/16" wide. It was recovered from Centerburg, Ohio in Knox county. The blade edges are very nice and symmetric. The artifact displays the classic "spurred" stem associated with the type. The only imperfection it has is a minor ding on one basal corner. This is from the collections of R.F. Kinsler and Jim Mills. The lance comes with a Jim Bennett Certificate of Authenticity.  If you are looking for a large Stringtown Lance here is your chance!!! There are noticeable deposits of mineralization and patina throughout , so rest assured of its authenticity.
