White Specter Crayfish (Procambarus clarkii) - Tank Bred Babies. Growing fast. I am no longer offering these in different sizes. I will not sell them until they are at least one inch in body length. I will not guarantee what size I will have at the time of purchase. If you prefer a smaller one or a bigger one please message me and I can tell you what I have.
**These are a known invasive species. I will not ship to states where they are banned. Please check your local laws. They are always changing and I will check before I ship. If I find they are banned in your state I will cancel the sale and you will be issued a refund. Thanks for understanding. So far I know I will not sell to residents of Michigan, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Washington, Oregon, South Carolina, Hawaii, Alaska, and Pennsylvania.
**I check for gender each time I catch one to sell and so far I have found mostly males. I have now determined that I am not always successful in telling their gender at a small size...the males I was holding back to become breeders have proven to be female. 😆 Not sure if there is a factor that plays into gender selection during development but I don't believe it's because they identify as such, lol. But going forward I will not be trying to select for a certain gender. I'm sorry.
**These are growing fast and are already developing territorial tendencies. Some are missing a claw or a leg. They are perfectly healthy and will regrow the missing claws/legs at the next molt. It may be smaller than the other but after a couple molts they are usually back to full size. I will not ship an animal if I don't think it is in good health and will not guarantee that they are perfect as far as all claws and legs. This is normal for crayfish. I will choose the best available. If you have a size preference let me know with a message, for example if you already have one and want a similar size. I will do my best.
**Live arrival guarantee. This means I guarantee that they will arrive to your location, either your address or designated pickup location, alive and in good health. Please take a clear photo of the animal in the bag before you open it if you suspect the animal is not alive and in good health. You must message me immediately if you have a concern. I also appreciate if you let me know that they arrived alive and well. I must receive a message before the end of the day. Must still be in the original bag in the photo. I use USPS Priority Mail shipping. Usually arrives in 2-3 days. I have changed my listing to free shipping because each time I sold more than one to a customer it was charging the shipping fee for each animal. So I have eliminated that issue and offer a significant volume pricing discount to reflect the combined shipping savings. There is a significant cost to me for shipping and packaging, buying more than one helps me significantly, so I offer a great volume pricing discount to also help you. Thanks. I will not be taking offers for these for the foreseeable future. They sell quickly and I have been out of stock for about 8 weeks and that is largely due to the quantity discount I was giving on very small babies. My hope is that in the future I will have sufficient quantity to be able to offer multiple sizes and lower prices, but for now I will stand firm on my price.
I will ship on Monday or Tuesday, and weather will play a factor in when I will ship. It will be decided with each order and discussed with you the buyer.
Please do just a little research into these animals to see if they are right for you and your setup. Even if that research is through me. I'm not going to tell you they will be fine with your fish or salamander or earthworm in a 5 gallon tank just to make a sale. These are omnivores, meaning they will eat just about anything. Now that doesn't mean they will eat everything, but there are certain precautions that you might need to take to have success. And what works for one crayfish might not work for a different crayfish in an identical tank with identical tank mates. These are living creatures, every one can react differently. Not sure? Just ask!
**Thanks. Feel free to message me with any questions.
