This old frame consists of 53 Shell Beads and Two rare Styled Shell Ear Pins/bobs. The longest ear pin measures 3 5/16” long and the other one was broken and glued, as you can see they are separated now as it was an old poor glue job. These are from the infamous Art Gerber collection, who was a good friend of mine. Well known for his finds from Southern Indiana, including the Crib Mound and other sites. He was also an author, including one book documenting a large part of his collection. The frame is an old style, with 4 screws holding the top plate and glass in. These were not marked, but the majority of his relics focused on Southern Indiana and Northern Kentucky sites. It would not surprise me if these are not pictured somewhere, as many of his relics were.
