This very cool
ETLEY
was found along Cahokia Creek in Madison Co Illinois and is obviously authentic. It shows nice use and great patination. It is made from a classic piece of
Burlington
chert with nice raised mineral deposits. It is incredibly thin for its size and no stacking It has an ancient blade ding, but no modern damage. This is one of the nicer Etley points we've sold in a long time (other than the minor ancient blade ding) and it will make an excellent addition to any authentic collection. This point is at least 3500 years old and a classic example for the type area.
