Collection of five vintage borderless color photographs of concept art illustrations for the 1982 film. Included is a typed letter signed, dated May 13, 1981, on Leisure Investments letterhead from producer Jeffry [sic] John Stein to Frank Capra Jr., then at Embassy Pictures. With a brief holograph ink annotation by Capra to the recto.
A cult classic thanks to frequent showings on cable television, spawning two sequels - a 1991 theatrical film and a 1996 television movie, as well as a syndicated television series that ran from 1999 to 2002.
Set in the fantasy kingdom of Aruk, shot on location in Nevada and California.
