    NOTES:
Most of the shrimp you receive will be mixed grade caridina juveniles or subadults approximately 25-50 days old that are about 1/4th to 1/2 the size of a fully grown adult (~0.25"-0.5"). This auction is for related and visually similar shrimp from the pictured colony, not the exact shrimp pictured. Variation is expected. Caridina have a lifespan of 1-2 years.
It's common for shrimp to temporarily lose their color as a stress response to shipping and environment
. This is a normal stress response in shrimp and their color will return after being acclimated to your tank, usually within one to three days.
Most caridina shrimp reach a maximum size of about 1-1.5 inches. Be mindful of your current tank stock and consider predatory livestock that may feed on small shrimp. Caridina prefer soft water and may not breed or stay healthy if PH/TDS/GH is too high.
