A three-mode safety switch keeps your fingers from getting caught. To get the shredding started, simply feed paper through and the shredder auto starts. In addition to paper, the AS810SD shreds CDs and credit cards, keeping vital information from falling into the wrong hands. The throat of the shredder is 8.75 inches wide and the basket itself can hold 4.5 gallons, or 100 sheets of shredded paper.
