The Southwest museum in Highland Park, CA published short booklets that focused on archaeological sites and ethnographic items from CA and the Southwest. Most of these have a content page that tells what is inside. Note, that I will often include Gabrielino (Tongva) under Chumash as they were precursors to them and the material culture s virtually identical. These issues are becoming scarce and hard to find. They are fun reading and to the point. Much hard to get information to learn from. These are in good to excellent condition(see photos). The series dates between 1927- to late 1980s. I will be selling most of the issues. If you buy multiples, I will give greatly discounted shipping. Wait to pay till you are finished. These normally run - depending on how old they are and the content.
