Description

Up for bid is a Beautiful High End Winged Bannerstone - Authentic Indian Artifact - with COA.
This beautiful Bannerstone is big with a wingspan of 5" long (Wingspan) and 2 1/2" wide and is in excellent condition. It is made from a beautiful Black Porphyritic Basalt Material
. It is a Winged Banner or sometimes considered a Butterfly Banner. The authenticator notes that it is an uncommon banner since the wings are asymmetrical. Another great thing about this banner is that it comes out of the famous Earl Townsend Collection and sold in the Townsend Auction before his death. This sweet banner was likely found in Indiana. It is from the Archaic Period and is suggested to be about 4,800 years old. This Banner has good deposits and natural weathering. It a
lso comes with a Certificate of Authenticity from "Bannerstone Tom" Shenk. I'm selling it with this COA speaking for it, so if you don't like this authenticator please pass and wait for another artifact.
It also was in the Tom Shank Collection artifact# S-284.
This is Definitely a Collector Grade Winged Bannerstone!
For more info please read the Certificate of Authenticity. I'll start the bid low with no reserve.
