    Authentic
    Prehistoric Native American Stone Axe or Maul, Small Grooved Artifact, Ancient Tool 6 1/2" x 2 1/4". This Native American stone tool is in good condition with about 4 tiny chips on the bit from use. This artifact has been in my personal collection for about 30 years.  I purchased it in a collection from a family in Mobridge, South Dakota, who found it on their farm & private land.  The axe head measures 6 1/2" in length, 2 1/4" thick & 1 3/4" in width. Bit edge is 2 1/4" & it weighs 1.87 pounds. This stone axe or maul head has a nice smooth appearance, it's beautifully made & displays well.  It's a great looking authentic Prehistoric stone tool for any Native American artifact collector.
