    Prehistoric Native American Stone Axe Head, Small Grooved Artifact, Tool 4" x 1 7/8". This Native American stone tool is in good condition, there's some chips on the bit.  This artifact has been in my personal collection for about 30 years.  I purchased it in a collection from a family in Mobridge, South Dakota, who found it on their farm & private land.  The axe head measures 4" in length, 1 7/8" thick & 5/8" in width. Bit edge is 1 1/2" and its has a full groove that goes all the way around. It weighs just over 5 ounces. This stone axe head has a nice smooth appearance, it's beautifully made & displays well.  It's a great looking authentic Prehistoric stone tool for any Native American artifact collector.
