    Authentic
    Prehistoric Native American Stone Axe Head, Small Grooved Artifact, Tool 4 1/2" x 2 3/8". This Native American stone tool is in good condition, it has four chips on the bit from use. This artifact has been in my personal collection for about 30 years.  I purchased it in a collection from a family in Mobridge, South Dakota, who found it on their farm & private land.  The axe head measures 4 1/2" in length, 2 3/8" thick & 1 3/8" in width. Bit edge is 1 1/4", the groove goes 3/4 of the way around.  It weighs just under one pound. This stone axe head is beautifully made & displays well.  It's a great looking authentic Prehistoric stone tool for any Native American artifact collector.
