Description
A nice bluish Grey Coshicton Flint Archaic point that is 1 5/8 inches long and 1 3/8 inches wide... Curved base that is almost a bifrucate. Has ancient wear .....see photos , and it comes from the private collection of Ensil Chadwick of Knox County Ohio. Ensil was active in the Ohio Archaeological Society and held many offices between 1950 to the 1980s Ensil died July 8, 2003 ( he was born March 19 17). He lived in Mount Vernon Ohio most of his life. He found these pieces In Knox County. I bought part of Chadwicks collection from Don Short of Troy Ohio and he is a MEMBER OF AACA The last photographs are of the pieces that I purchased in six different auctions and they all came from Ensil Chadwick’s personal collection.
