Description
This very nicely made Hornstone/ Cobden flint blade was found in Pike Co, Missouri and measures 6.5 inches long and is 2.25 inches wide at the widest point. This blade is made from a very high grade material and is really a nice blade with outstanding size and is a very fine flaked blade. This piece was previously collected by Vernon Luedtke of Seattle, Washington sometime prior to the 1970's. This blade is guaranteed to be 100% authentic and unaltered.Other collector history includes Byron Anderson (WW No. 2) and Ed Buel.
I purchased this great blade from Mitch Lewis, a well-respected collector. He is from Salem, Illinois and is listed in Who’s Who in Indian Relics, Volume 11 and is the grandson of Don Lewis, a famous collector; I included his page from WW No. 11.
