5 Mystery Snails gold-orange +5, + plants

Description

You will receive 5 healthy quarter size gold-orange mystery snails + 5 other smaller snails dime size gold orange + 2 miniature water lettuces.  I always include 2 extra snails in case of DOA. I always include a small cold pack or hot pack depending of weather condition.
SNAILS ARE ONLY MAILED OUT ON MONDAYS OR TUESDAYS. YOU MAY HAVE MORE THAN 3 BUSINESS DAYS OF WAITING DEPENDENT UPON WHAT DAY YOU ORDER.

How to acclimate your new friends:
Snails should be acclimated to their new tank just as fish should be.
When you receive your snails they will be individually wrapped in paper towel strips inside a plastic container.
You will be receiving updates on the tracking. This is imperative due to the weather. As soon as I give you a HEADS-UP or you see they will be arriving, grab a cup of tank water and allow it to sit out to obtain room temperature.
Allow the container of snails to sit out, top off, to come to room temp about 30 minutes. This is a vital step. We don't want to shock them.
After they have come to room temp, remove the snails & paper towels, place about 1/2 C of your room temp tank water into the container. Unwrap each snail and place them into the water.
Drop a little food in there to encourage them to open up. Once they start moving around, place the container in your tank and let it float to get the temp up to your tank temp. Let them acclimate this way for at least 20 mins.
You should be able to place them in your tank now. If they wake up and start running around, AWESOME! Not all snails wake up at the same time. I suggest placing them in a specific spot towards the front of your tank and observe them. If some haven't moved within 24 hours, we may have an issue. Some snails will take longer.
