This listing is for 5 Crystal Black Shrimps, they will be S to SSS grade, high quality and USA-Bred.
It is easy to confuse grading and quality to be the same definition. Grading is the pattern and amount of white coloration a crystal shrimp has. More white = higher grade. Grading is a preference if you prefer more white or more red on the shrimps or if you prefer one pattern to the other.  Quality is how even the color coverage is on the shrimp and how thick the shells are. A high quality shrimp has very even color coverage (red and white) and and thick shells. A low quality shrimp has patchy color coverage (transparent patches) and sometimes the white color of the crystal will be yellow or almost translucent. You can have a high grade, low quality shrimp with a high white to red ratio but patchy coloration and coverage (this will significantly lower the value of the shrimp and likely produce low quality shrimps) and vice versa
Crystal black shrimps are stunning in color and pattern and are fairly hardy. The crystal black shrimp is a great option to start with for hobbyists that are transitioning from the Neocaridina genus (Cherry, Blue velvet, Orange, Green, Rilli shimps).

Shipping and DOA Policy
Invertebrates will be in breather bags packed in a Styrofoam box with insulation and. We ship on Monday through Wednesday with USPS Priority Mail.
We ship to all 49 States in the Continental United States. We do not ship to Hawaii or Puerto Rico due to strict customs restrictions related to importing live animals into those states.
In the rare of case of Dead On Arrival (DOA), please take clear photos of the invertebrate(s) in the unopened bag within 1 hour of the first delivery attempt or pick-up and send it to us . If temperatures in your area on the day of delivery are below 40F or above 90F, post office pickup is required for the Live Arrival Guarantee. Your local post office will be able to hold your package for pickup if you call them prior to the day of delivery. Refund will be for the cost of lost invertebrate(s) only. If a replacement is requested instead of a refund, we will invoice you the shipping cost for the replacement.
