    Pandora or Archaic Knife made of a banded light to dark brown, gray, cream and tan color petrified wood. This nice size specimen measures approx. 4 7/8” x 1 ¼” x 7/16” and has bifacial percussion followed by direct pressure flaking to form. The host stone has some agatized sections which the maker trimmed some stacking down and created a sturdy functional knife. It is mega patinated with abundant mineral deposits and is as found condition with typical ancient use wear, G6-7 Quality. Was found on private property located in Polk County, Texas by the family of George Wolf.
