3 Magenta Mystery Snails -- Pomacea Bridgesii -- Domestically Bred

SNAILS
Mystery snails are peaceful and graceful additions to a gentle community tank.  These snails have a stripped purple and cream shell with a light colored, slightly iridescent foot. The snails you'll receive will range from pea-size to nickel size and will grow to be between 1 inch to a little over 2 inches in diameter.
DIET & WATER CONDITIONS
Our snails enjoy French cut canned green beans (no salt added), Repashy Solient Green or Snello, calcium/spirulina chips, and a mix of flake fish food and frozen foods like daphnia and bloodworms. For shell health, a pH of 7.0 or slightly higher and the addition of calcium to their water through the inclusion of some crushed coral, Wondershell, or cuttlebone is helpful. Temperatures of 72-78 F tend to be ideal for them.
ACCLIMATION
Snails will ship in container with moistened paper towel. (Mystery snails can breathe air through a siphon or underwater through gills.) Once they arrive, remove them gently from the paper towel and place them in their shipping container with 1/4 inch of aquarium water. You can float the the container in your aquarium to bring them to the proper temp. You should see them begin to wake up from shipping within a few hours (sometimes as long as 24 hours), at which time you can add them to their new home.

Snails are shipped Priority Mail in an insulated box. During cold months a heat pack is included, and cooling packs are included, as necessary, in the warm months.
