Mystery snails are a delight to have in any home aquarium. They have a personality unlike any other snail. My favorite the purple, and also the hardest to come by, have a wonderful color to add to your aquarium along with a colorful dark foot. They have a range of medium to dark purple, with horizontal, vertical, wide and thin stripes. They assist in cleaning up algae and leftover food. They are safe with any shrimp or fish of your choosing. All of my purple mystery snails are kept with only other purple mystery snails. And they are all bread in indoor aquariums. They are fun active additions to your aquarium that you will thoroughly enjoy! They can also handle a pretty wide range of water parameters.

They do prefer harder water and calcium enriched food for healthy shell growth.
Along with the leftover food and algae the snails will consume. I also feed them snello, “a home made easy to make recipe” kale, spinach, and green beans. They are eating machines! But will not eat your plants! I will send larger snails in orders unless otherwise specified by you :).
I will send 1 extra snail in every order in case of a snail arriving DOA. Snails sometimes float, and also sometimes tuck in their shells to adjust to new environments. If a snail is DOA it will have a very strong Oder and it’s trap door will be loose or open. Please provide an email and picture if you suspect a snail arrived DOA. I will send rebates in that rare of occurrence and I will NOT refund for the free snail.
Snails will be shipped out on Monday’s and Tuesday’s to assure safest delivery for you. I also included pictures of the snails different sizes both in and out of water. Your lighting system will play a part in the variation of purple you see.
