Hi There. You are bidding on 20 Opae Ula (Halocaridina rubra). Also known
as Hawaiian Volcano Shrimp, these are a small and extremely hardy
species of Brackish water shrimp. They can tolerate different level of
salinaty, from freshwater all the way up to full marine saltwater. I
find that they do best in 1/2 fresh and 1/2 salt water, specific
gravity around 1.012 (full salt water is around 1.025).
You can check the internet for more care information, but they only
require clean water, and a well-lit aquarium. The light will grow
algae for them, and that is all that they need to thrive.
