    Description

20+ Multicolor Ramshorn Freshwater Aquarium Snails Fish Puffer Loaches Food
The ultimate goal of any freshwater aquarium or pond enthusiast is to imitate natural aquatic environment and snails are a natural part of practically any aquatic ecosystem performing numerous vital roles.
In freshwater aquariums or ponds – various types of snails proved to be extremely beneficial – they constantly scrape algae off aquatic plants, driftwood, glass and stones, consume dead plant parts and fish food remains – all these are quickly converted to into great natural fertilizer, readily utilized by all aquarium plants.
Further, they give off some extra CO2 (through breathing) which is also very beneficial for growth of live aquarium plants.
Snails can also be used as a great natural food for certain fish like puffers or loaches as well as aquatic turtles and crayfish.
Finally, slowly moving snails are really fun to watch, reviving and enlivening your underwater landscape!
You will receive 20+ Ramshorn snails of assorted size and color ( pink, blue, red, brown, leopard).  I will do my best to include a good variety. Also add extra snails for DOA.
Snails are shipped in containers with wet paper towels to keep them moist.  They are not fasted before shipping and will often soil the paper towels with an orange stain from the food I use.  This is not a concern or problem.
In general, Ramshorn snails are extremely resilient, and it is extremely unlikely for them to die in normal transit times.  Almost all losses have been due to postal delays or extreme cold.
On arrival, put your snails in a small glass or bowl of water (cover snails with at least an inch of water) from your aquarium, not your tap.  The snails will often have air in their shells at first, causing them to float and need time to recover.  Sinking food will entice them to revive faster.
Possibly use as feeder snails for turtles, puffers, loaches or others.
If you have any questions, feel free to send me a message. Thank you for looking!
Live arrival guaranteed if pictures are sent within 2 hours of delivery (based on USPS tracking), with pictures of DOA still sealed in original shipping bag, and pictures of the shipping box. Will refund or reship at sellers discretio
