20+ Malaysian Trumpet Snails

Description

This listing is 20+ Malaysian Trumpet Snails. They are part of a colony that I have been private breeding for the last decade. They are an incredibly hearty snail and are great for beginners who are interested in keeping freshwater snails in their aquarium. They do best in a tropical environment and breed quickly. Their reproduction is asexual and is proportional to the amount of free food in their environment. They are great at cleaning up leftover fish food, but as the previous sentence suggests, if you overfeed your fish, you will end up with many snails.
These snails are perfect for a sand substrate and will burrow down into the sand. It is beneficial because this behavior breaks up pockets of gas and helps keep your sand clean. They are safe to be around nearly all plants and will cohabitate with most fish species (Note some fish species eat snails, e.g. dwarf puffer, clown loach...).
These snails are from a parasite free environment with good water conditions. While there are few diseases that can transfer between aquatic invertebrates and fish, it is advisable to quarantine all new organisms under all scenarios.
