Description

20 Asolene Spixi Snails ( Zebra Apple Snail).
Aquatic snails. Tank bred. Healthy shells.
They range in size as shown in the pictures. While they are a great clean up crew, Spixi snails do not eat algae and prefer a meatier diet. They will eat left over fish food, blanched veggies, shrimp pellets, meat wafers. From my experience with them, I’ve seen them eat hydra, melting plant leaves and some floating plants, but not enough to kill them or completely wipe them out. They have not messed with any healthy plant leaves or moss in the tank.
They should NOT be kept with Colombian Ramshorn snails as they are believed to create an aggressive hybrid snail.
