    This is an
    original
    color slide (not any sort of dupe or recent copy) of a Brothers Hildebrandt painting. It is a production slide which was sent to a publisher who was doing an article on them for the magazine FANTASY ILLUSTRATED. The border of the slide is dated July 1984 and is identified there as being from something called the FANTASY COOKBOOK and looks to be of Hobbits. This is a vintage original 1984 slide made by the Hildebrandt Brothers to promote their work.
    This slide is 2 inches by 2 inches and the image area is 7/8" x 1 3/8". It is in excellent condition and not faded, dirty or discolored. There is only one of these and once sold will not be offered again by me in any form. Color is a little light in the scan but the slide itself has colors which are rich, clear and vibrant.
