Condition: Rarely driven dependable Beetle Convertabile. Rebuilt stock engine, rust repair complete; new top, wheels, tires, bumpers; interior has been redone, and chrome is in good condition. The engine was rebuilt 4,000 miles ago and doesn't leak oil. There are no dents, dings or obvious scratches. The new top was installed by the previous owner and never adjusted correctly . The driver side window is out of alignment with the rear window, so there is a gap there. The top leaks air where it meets the body above visors - I have a new seal that i will include. The turn signals work, self cancelling is not working. The winshield wipers only operate on low speed and the heater has been disconnected. There is no spare tire and the horn is missing - though the wiring is still there. There may be other minor issues that I am not aware of.

Great looking '72 soft-top that drives well. I bought this with the intention of just using it as a weekend car and something to tinker with, but don't have the time or motivation! The previous owner had it for 22 years and spent alot time and energy on rehabing the car. It came with a folder full of reciepts including all the rust repair (there is none now), engine, suspension paint, interior and numerous parts etc. When I added it up once it came to more that 15K. Engine is completely stock and was rebuilt 4,000 miles ago, verified with reciept. I just had all the gas lines, hoses replaced and installed a new stock type muffler & hurst shifter. All the lubrication has just been done and clutch / shifter adjusted. This is a 50 year old car and may have other issues that I'm not aware of as I've only driven it less then 200 miles. I have a CleanTitle in hand and the registration is current until 9/23.
