    EXTERIOR
It is said that "They're only original once". This wonderful wagons finish is original and exhibits a patina that you can't duplicate. The chrome and stainless are decent, some small areas show signs of minor rust (see photos).
    INTERIOR
Very nice original cloth and vinyl interior with few signs of wear and no signs of abuse.
    MECHANICAL
Much work has been performed to make this classic wagon not only cool but also very reliable. Converted to 4 wheel disc brakes this barge stops on a dime! The consignor claims the only part of the brake system he didn't replace was the pedal.
In addition the front suspension has been "gone through" -- almost everything is new. And as you can see the car has been lowered.
To insure reliability the reconditioning includes new belts, hoses, thermostat, water pump, fuel pump, plugs, wires, points, cap, rotor, and a new battery. The carb has been rebuilt.
Yes it runs and drives very well. The ride is firm but no where near as bad as a lowered and cambered Civic.  It stops well, the turning radius is somewhat hampered by the modifications but doesn't take away from the overall sweet ride.
