DIRECTIONS ON HOW TO USE HENNA CONES:1) Clean your hands or the skin surface, before applying the henna paste onto it. Henna cones are pre-cut when they are manufactured in India. Unfortunately, I don't have any control over mfc. You can cut the tip of the henna cone for desired thickness. All of our henna cones are imported from India. Squeeze diluted henna out on a paper napkin prior to applying your design. For the first time henna cone users you have to hold the cone like if you are holding a pen or pencil. It will take practice to get used to how to hold the henna cones right or what is more comfortable for you.
2) Although henna cones are filled with natural henna paste, we recommend that you do a skin sensitivity patch test 24 hour prior to applying the henna onto your skin.
3) Once you apply the henna on your skin, let it dry completely. Henna paste will dry within 1-2 hours if not less depending on the size of the design. It is recommended to leave dry henna on your skin for minimum 4-5 hours if not overnight for better results. Because this is natural henna it takes time & process to be set on your skin for example, like dying our hair color. Once your henna is dried completely you can now apply Eucalyptus Oil or Sugar + Lemon Mixture.
4) Sugar+ Lemon Juice Mixture Recipe: Take 2 teaspoons of Water + 2 teaspoons of Sugar + 8-10 drops of lemon juice. Mix it well. Dab a cotton into the mixture and apply it on your dry henna. This will set the henna in and it will help darken the color output.
5) Scrap the dry henna off instead of washing the are with water. Try not to use water for at least 24 hours where henna is applied. Once you scrap off the dry henna paste, at first the color output will be orangish. Color output varies from skin to skin and where its applied on your body. Certain parts of our body the color will be darken than other areas.
6) Storing the left over henna paste or cones. Henna cones should be stored properly for longevity. Usually, majority of henna cones have one year expire date and some has two years expire date. Henna should be stored in room temperature only. If its stored in extreme hot temperature it will loosen the paste or leaks . Henna cones are made with a mixture of water+ henna powder + oils. It will loosen the paste and it can also leak. There is no control over this because its a nature of the product and how its made. Please do not freeze the left over henna cones.
