They are a perfect clean up crew for your aquarium or pond! Ramshorn snails eat many types of algae, waste and uneaten fish food. They are also PLANT SAFE! Ramshorn snails only eat decaying plant matter. By doing this the snails help maintain a balanced and healthy aquarium. Let them be the foundation of your mini ecosystem. Worried about the snail population in your tank? That is not a problem! Population can be maintained or expanded just by adjusting the food availability.
Snails make a great live food for turtles, assassin snails, loaches, pufferfish, and many other types of freshwater fish.
Shipping
: We ship out Monday and Tuesday only unless you are located in California then we ship Wednesday also. The purpose of this is to avoid the shipment sitting at the post office over the weekend. Snails ship first class mail and local pickup is an option for free.

Snail will arrive alive. We always include couple extra snails.  Contact us directly within 24 hours of delivery time with any issues.
A clear photo of DOA/ damaged item will be required for a replacement. This covers up to the number of snails ordered excluding extras sent.
NOTE: snails may appear deceased when opened up. Place snails in a glass of aquarium water and you should see them come to life after a little bit.
