You are You are purchasing 10 blue shrimp (Neocaridina davidi) from my highest grade shrimp colony available for the Blue Dream variety. These are Grade B Blue Dream Shrimp from LBR Aquatics - he is an award winning shrimp breeder. I have kept my colonies straight by constantly culling any mutations that occur via putting the clear guys into a separate 40 gallon.
Blue Dream shrimp are an easy addition to your community tank that’s also simple to keep. These little freshwater crustaceans grow to be about 1.5” in length (about the length of your finger nail). They can withstand PH between 6.4 and 8 and temperature at between 65-85 degrees Fahrenheit. They are kept 7.2 PH and 75 degrees at their current home.
Shipping details:
I ship my packages USPS priority. US mainland only. Orders are shipped often within 1-7 days, all orders ship Monday to avoid weekend warehouses. I ship these in regular doubled 2ml fish bags + insulation, inside a box. I will ship with heat packs or ice packs if necessary. I will not ship in extreme temperatures.
I recommend following your tracking number by copying and pasting the # into the usps.com webpage daily, estimated delivery dates often change and it takes a little planning to make sure you're home when your shrimp arrive at their destination.
Acclimation instructions:
When you receive the shrimp, I recommend gently opening the bags and pouring the shrimp and bag water into your tank, or over a net in a bucket and placing your shrimp in the tank gently. In this case, decreasing stress is more important than water acclimation.
Guarantee:
I guarantee all shrimp, if DOA (dead on arrival) please send pictures of unopened bag with dead shrimp within 2 hours of arrival and I can refund or replace I use USPS Priority for shipping.
